Christopher W. Macosko and and his colleagues create multiphase polymer microstructures via process flows and chemical reaction. They carry out research on polymer blending, polyurethane foaming, dispersion of nano-filler in polymers. Macosko has also been active in developing new rheological test methods and their applications. He is the author of the popular text: Rheology: Principles, Measurements, and Applications (Wiley, 1994).
The Macosko Research Group has produced over 540 publications and been home to over 100 Ph.D. and M.S. students, post-doctoral scholars, and visiting scientists. Macosko was also the Director of IPRIME, the Industrial Partnership for Research in Interfacial and Materials Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
Leader U, a multi-disciplinary vehicle to help reach professors, students and other thinkers with the best in Christian thought on a variety of compelling issues.
Anselm House, a Christian study center serving the University of Minnesota community; bringing God into the marketplace of ideas by communicating the Christian worldview with its transforming potential.
